What you need to know...
This farm cheese has been manufactured by the monks of Cîteaux since 1925, and fully reflects the serenity of its surroundings. The Montbéliarde breed of cows graze in complete tranquillity under the benevolent eye of the monks. Cîteaux is very much more lighter than the majority of washed-rind cheeses, and is generously creamy, fondant and mild.
